We'll be involved in an exciting new climate change exhibition

Our colleagues at Penlee House Gallery and Museum have invited us to take part in an exhibition in early 2025, which will reflect on climate change and showcase new artwork in response to this global issue.

The Gardeners' House team will be talking about our plans for the building as part of this project, and sharing how we will work with environmental groups to try to effect positive change in our own community. We also hope to run some workshops as part of the event, using our own archives to examine the effect of climate change on the landscape in West Cornwall.

The Shape of Things:

Our place in a changing climate

5 February – 26 April 2025

Community groups, schools and local environmental champions have come together with local artists to create works in response to the changing climate.

The new artworks will sit alongside objects and paintings from the Penlee House collection to explore how the changing environment has affected both our local landscape and seascape and will provide hope and action points for visitors to understand what they can do to help combat climate change.

We will share more about our involvement in this event nearer the time.
